When you’re dealing with customers, you should always sound the contract to prevent a bad client you are using. I will also explain all of it to help you better understand what it takes to create a good contract.
Like everything in life you meet someone in the end, who will try to use your skills, not giving you the compensation you deserve. Ins and outs of a good contract
A good contract should always cover you if your client is doing something wrong or did not initially agreed upon. An oral agreement is not as strong as the written agreement, because it would be your word against them. Like my father says: “If it is not in writing then it does not count”, the words of my business life.
A good contract should contain the following:
* Complete contact information the client, including hosting username and password
* Your name Both the client and the client’s domain name
* Permits for access to the account
* In a detailed description of the project and the process
* Site Specifications
* Date of completion
* Agreement that the subcontractors could be used if necessary
* Cost estimates, as well as late payments and the amount of down payment
* Refund
* Maintenance and hourly rates (if any)
* Legal Information, for example, non-liability statement, pursuant to paragraph, and the copyright / Trademark Information
* Finally, the signature with the date signed
